The Steady series were created at the beginning of the pandemic, during a time of turbulence and uncertainty—an uncertainty that the artist examined and employed as a driving force behind the series. Looking to her connection with the natural world and its steady rhythms and constant flux as inspiration, Aimee uses her art practice to transform paper into painting, confusion to clarity, and turmoil to peace.
